On the heels of the announcement that Amos was nearing completion of his next album, he told Billboard that the work is now done. He spoke to Billboard after his set at a benefit performance for Farm Aid, which included covers of Levon Helms' "Growing Trade" and Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come".

Amos is currently finishing album number five with producer Jay Joyce (Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Eric Church).

Amos is the first artist to record in Jay's new studio, which he built in an old church in east Nashville. We'll have more details about the new record for you very soon, so stay tuned.

Amos has been announced as one of the special guests at the special kick-off event for the Americana Music Association’s Cross-Country Lines Festival, set for June 1 at The Factory in Franklin, TN.

Planned and hosted by Alison Krauss and Jerry Douglas, the show will feature performances Amos, Shaun Colvin, Sarah Jarosz, and Angel Snow, in addition to Krauss and Douglas. Tickets for this incredible night of music be available starting Friday, April 26 at AmericanaMusic.org. All proceeds from the show will go to benefit the Americana Music Association.

Wednesday night's tribute to "Cowboy" Jack Clement in Nashville was a phenomenal event. Rolling Stone called Amos' performance of Jim Reeves' "I Know One" "resplendent". By their account, Amos "brought the house down like he owned the place". High praise!

On January 30, Amos will be one of the many musical artists to salute "Cowboy" Jack Clement and celebrate his remarkable life, accomplishments and musical legacy.

Honor Thy Music: A Tribute to Cowboy Jack Clement will take place at War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, TN, and tickets are on sale now.

On March 12, Blue Note/EMI and Artist Den Records will release the limited edition concert DVD, Amos Lee: Live from the Artists Den.

This new release will feature, for the first time, Amos' complete 2011 show at Tuscon's Fox Theatre (portions of which originally aired as an episode of Live from the Artists Den), as well bonus interview footage and an acoustic performance of "El Camino".

The show includes guest appearances from members of Calexico and the Silver Thread Trio, and sees Amos peforming selections from his 2011 album Mission Bell (which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200), as well a stunning rendition of the Wille Nelson/Ray Charles classic "Seven Spanish Angels".
